Welcome to The Big Lesbian Toilet!

Step inside a toilet cubicle in a lesbian bar, seen from a first person perspective, as a woman sits and gratefully accepts toilet roll from the next cubicle. The walls are plastered with graffiti and real WLW couples’ names.

590 couples’ names, submitted by women from around the world on Instagram and TikTok, are included on the walls. Every name is a real relationship, a real connection, and a small but permanent mark in sapphic history. I am archiving lesbians and WLW relationships in art, and this print is the first in an ongoing series.
